Hoverboard warning from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is encouraging consumers to stop using LayZ Board hoverboards due to concerns that they pose a fire hazard. The CPSC says it has evidence that a LayZ Board hoverboard was involved in a fatal fire in March, and that more than 3,000 LayZ Boards were imported into the U.S. (The CPSC notes that LayZ Boards hoverboards are different from Lazyboard hoverboards.) Read the CPSC’s warning to learn more.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with thousands of types of consumer products.
