As part of its Patriot Program, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office provides certain pro bono (free) legal services to active-duty and mobilized military personnel and their families.

Attorneys from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office volunteer to help service members exercise their rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994. Legal assistance also can aid members in creating wills and powers of attorney.
